Objective:  Utilize my experience as an NCTI Certified Master Technician working in construction and design, including voice and data, in multiple environments, including, collocations, headends, aerial splicing, and manhole experience. I have years of experience as a conformance tester and, ribbon splicer, I can operate all models of OTDR’s, TDR’s, and spectrum analyzers. I have also used BERT testers and TBERD’s as well. I also have many years experience in networking with Cisco, Juniper and Nortel equipment. I am familiar with IP protocols and have experience with Excel spreadsheets, Power Point and Outlook.

Install and test commercial fiber optic circuits for clients. This includes 100MBPS, 1GBPS and 10 GBPS circuits. Complete splicing if required at SEP locations and collocation facility. This is to include standard single mode as well as Non-zero Dispersion shifted fibers. Ensure that the span and FEC ports are within company and industry standards. Install optics according to client specs, either single mode or multimode optics. Test circuit with JDSU T-Berd, Anritsu CMA and Nettest software. Activate circuit with NOC by using test IP’s that are client specific to ensure that there is no packet loss.
